Travel Wise Twins and Triplet Day

Here are our Twins, Triplets  - another fun Travel Wise event.

Can you spot our real twins who came out of their classes to join their twin for a photo?

Apologies to Mai and Melissa - I somehow missed taking your photo.

Well done and thank-you parents for supporting this event - it does take a little prior thinking and organisation.

Celebrating Father's Day

I had to wait until Monday to post these photos so as to not spoil the surprise.
We illustrated a tie template and included a Morse code element. I hope that all the Dad's had a special day and that you enjoyed our gift. They were all so different and unique.
Wearing them to work could be a great conversation starter.

Sharing the Learning

Our latest slide deck will give you an idea of what the class have been doing since returning to school. The class have settled in well and we ended the week having a different bubble experience.

Origami Pig

For our Friday Challenge today we made an origami pig. That's because one of the Big Ideas videos that we watched on Class Dojo taught us about Respect. It likened respect to a piggy bank. If we treat people the way we want to be treated we earn and gather respect. It is something that happens over time like collecting gold coins.

A pair of old slippers to chew

Mrs Dijkstra read us a story called "Arthur". It is about a dog who lived in a pet shop and desperately wanted a home and an owner to love him and a pair of old slippers to chew. Our Friday challenge was to design and make those slippers from a store brought paper bag. We had some amazing creations and inventions. We are learning to stretch our brain and problem solve. If it's tricky and we are in the learning pit that's ok, we can ask for help or try to figure it out for ourselves.
