Welcome to Room 24's blog for 2020. We are an energetic Year 2 class and our teachers are Mrs Sue Dijkstra and Mrs Kylie Smith. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year! Please check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.
Thank you for the video message Mrs Dijkstra! I have been building lots of tracks with my trains, and also doing some study ladder. We also put the tent up on the lawn and went camping for a night. From Alexander.
That sounds like fun Alex. I'm glad you went camping last night seeing as it is raining today. Well done with using your train tracks to build with. That's a wonderful creative thing to do. I might just get Michael's steam train set out of the attic.
Hello Mrs Dijkstra! It was nice to see you and our two owl friends. I have been busy doing lots of art and study ladder. I now have more certificates on my wall:) I miss you and all my friends, but I am being good at home helping around the house and being kind to my family. Take care, from Astin
Well done Astin - I know you like your Art work. By the end of this you will have quite a collection those Study Ladder certificates. Go you!! I'm so proud of you being kind and helpful to your family. I'm sure your family appreciate it.
I have been scootering and baking cupcakes. I have been playing outdoor games with James. I really enjoyed eating the cupcakes that I made. I hope you've been well. From Elizabeth.
Hi Elizabeth, Glad to hear you have been out riding your scooter. A great thing to do with so many lovely sunny days - except we did get rain today. Yes, cupcakes are both fun to make and eat. Did you get to decorate them? I have made loads of deserts. We are all well in our bubble thanks!
Thanks Mrs Dijkstra. You take care too! Look after those class mascots!
