  1. Wow Elizabeth your colouring in is amazing, I really like the colours, it must of taken you a long time? Astin your lunchbox is filled with a great variety of healthy snacks, I really like nuts to snack on during the day. What a fun idea Tai and Stevie-Mei, it is hard to eat with chopsticks isn't it! What a kind and thoughtful idea Isabella, to write to your grandma and decorate the envelope, she would of loved receiving this in her letterbox! You are demonstrating our Sunnyhills GEMs isn't it. Well done. A windsurfing skateboard Carlos, what fun to create and make it with your Dad and then see how it will work in the wind, there has been some windy days to try it out hasn't there. Cameron what fun ways to practice your maths, very creative particularly the nerf gun target, and eating the jelly, that must of been alot of fun!

Room 24, I look forward to checking out your blog because you doing so many wonderful distance learning activities.
Elizabeth, I wonder if you do colouring in as a mindfulness activity, I think it would be a very calming thing to do.
Astin, your healthy lunch looks delicious. It includes lots of my favourite foods. Like you I love carrots and often have them for my morning tea at school. Yum!
Tai, what a fabulous idea to have your own restaurant at home. You were so lucky that you could choose your own menu and Mummy and Daddy were your waitress and waiter. Maybe you could do something similar for Mummy for Mother's Day.
Maia, well done on making a poi. Did you do your own plaiting? That is such a clever skill.
Isabelle, what a thoughtful thing to write a letter to your Grandma, she would have got such a lovely surprise when she checked her letterbox.
Carlos, what can I say...you had such great balance on your windsurfing skateboard. Lucky it was a windy day. Was it a challenge to work out which direction would make your invention go the fastest?
Cameron, what a lot of busy things you have been doing. I loved your Nerf Gun Maths game. Great skills in the kitchen with chopping potatoes. How many pieces did you cut?
    Thanks for sharing!

  6. What a lot of imaginative ideas Mrs Dijkstra. Tai's restaurant, Carlos' wind skateboard, Cameron's Nerf gun math game, coloured rice writing and a beautiful poi all look like lots of fun! Lots of thought and attention to detail shown by Elizabeth, Astin and Isabella. Grandma's bucket will be over flowing when she receives her letter from Isabella!
