Welcome to Room 24's blog for 2020. We are an energetic Year 2 class and our teachers are Mrs Sue Dijkstra and Mrs Kylie Smith. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year! Please check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.
Mrs Smaill's video reminded me about that! I had completely forgotten. The weather was awful wasn't it Mrs Dijkstra. We even had the fire on last night to dry our washing! We were soooo hot! Ha ha ha ha! I bet your children can't wait to see their friends in the Google Meet video calls. From Mrs Burge
Morena Mrs Dijkstra and Room 24. Yes it was wet and windy over the weekend. Nice paper chain I used to make paper chains for decorating my christmas tree and for birthday decorations.
Your morning videos are so inspiring Mrs Dijkstra. I'm going to have to have a look at the Star Wars challenge as soon as finish commenting on Room 24's learning, so many busy people. Enjoy your Google Meet.
What a fantastic idea to make paper chains to measure things around your house. I wonder if you could have a competition to see who can make the longest paper chain?
What a lovely message to start the week Mrs Dijkstra - lovely to see you today. Very exciting that Google Meets start this week. The coding challenge looks like fun. Your paper chain looks beautiful. Great ideas on how to use the paper chains.
